Our Mission; The Road Ahead
Our group is dedicated to the accurate, respectful, and educational portrayal of Confederate soldiers and civilians during the American Civil War. We recognize the complex and often painful legacy of this era, and we approach our reenactments with a deep commitment to historical integrity, research, and context.
Our mission is to ensure that this chapter of American history is neither forgotten nor misrepresented. Through immersive living history events, public education, and thoughtful interpretation, we strive to bring the past to life—highlighting the human stories, moral struggles, and historical realities of those who experienced the Civil War firsthand.
We unequivocally reject the glorification of hate, racism, or the misuse of Confederate imagery for modern political or divisive purposes. Instead, we seek to preserve and present history honestly, so that it may be remembered accurately and used as a foundation for reflection, dialogue, and growth.
As we look to the road ahead, we believe that understanding history is essential to building a more informed and united future. By continuing to engage communities, educators, and new generations through historically grounded storytelling, we aim to foster a deeper appreciation of the past—so that its lessons are never lost, and its truths continue to inform the present.
