15th Alabama Infantry Regiment
On July 2, 1863, 499 men of the 15th Alabama Infantry charged up the boulder-strewn slopes of Little Round Top into the rifles of Colonel Joshua Chamberlain's 20th Maine. By nightfall, every commissioned officer in Company G was dead or dying.
The Maine Rebels, based in Farmington, portray the Henry Pioneers (15th AL Co. G) as a member unit of the Liberty Greys.

4th Alabama Infantry Regiment
"The 4th Alabama Infantry reenactors of the Liberty Greys are New England's only unit that galvanizes as a company, portraying both the Confederate 4th Alabama and the Union 15th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. Rooted in more than twenty-five years of living history, the unit brings the story of the Tuskegee Zouaves and the full sweep of the 4th Alabama's service to life for audiences across the region."

Civil War Reenacting in New England
Organized in Norfolk in 1861, the 6th Virginia Infantry served from the Seven Days’ Battles to Appomattox as part of the Army of Northern Virginia. Fighting under William Mahone, the regiment endured heavy losses at Malvern Hill, Gettysburg, and the Battle of the Crater. Today, its story forms the historical foundation portrayed by the Liberty Greys.
